AC Milan and Olivier Giroud arrive at Bluenergy Stadium in Udine. 🏟️

First Half

The first minute kicks off. AC Milan and Udinese are battling for possession, and so far it's been in the Rossoneri's favour.

After attempts, the advantage swung in favour of Pioli's men, who scored the first goal of the match through Ruben Loftus-Cheek on 31 minutes.

Unfortunately, the Rossoneri were unable to hold on to their lead and Lazar Samardzic equalised for his team shortly before the end of the first half.

A few minutes after this goal and on the orders of the referee, the match came to a halt. Mike Maignan was the victim of racist shouts and, following a decision by the whole team, the players returned to the dressing room.

Team Giroud firmly condemns all acts of discrimination. Racism and all forms of discrimination have no place in sport or in society.

It was half-time between the two teams, who had drawn level at the end of the first half. The scorers were Loftus-Cheek (AC Milan) and Samardzic (Udinese).

Second half

Start of the second half! Milan are determined to regain the lead and claim all 3 points. They immediately put pressure on their opponents. But it wasn't enough, as it was Udinese who took the lead.

Hard for AC Milan. But it was with determination and great team spirit that the Milanese managed to turn the match around. Theo Hernandez crossed, Olivier struck... but it was deflected off the crossbar by a defender. Finally, Jovic followed up well to equalise!

The final whistle is set to blow and the two teams battled for the winning goal. The game went into extra time and AC Milan won a corner. Olivier heads the ball home and provides his 7th assist of the season for Noah Okafor. Amazing night!!!
